Bios:

  • Dr Amanda Hay is Senior Lecturer in HRM and Organisational Behaviour at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University, in the United Kingdom. Amanda has a PhD in work psychology and a central theme of her work focuses on efforts to humanise management learning processes by paying attention to rarely discussed lived experiences of managing, such as, not knowing, doubt and anxiety.

  • Dr. Ellen Ernst Kossek is the Basil S. Turner University Distinguished Professor at Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management. Ellen is an award-winning social scientist who helped advance the U.S. and international work-family-life research policy field. She studies how work-life boundaries, work-life-family and diversity employment practices impact women's workplace inclusion and career equality. A recent Stanford study rated her in the top 2% of top researchers to the business and management field.

  • Dr. Meera Alagaraja, at the time of recording, was Acting Associate Dean, Office of Innovation and Strategic Partnerships and Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership, Evaluation and Organizational Development at the University of Louisville. She is now at Texas A&M University. Meera’s research interests include well-being, strategic HRD, and workforce development, and her work has been recognized through both the Monica M Lee award for outstanding research and the Richard A Swanson award for excellence in research.
