Bios:

  • Dr. Kim McDonald, recently retired as professor emerita of organizational leadership and supervision. For over 30 years she taught and held administrative positions at Purdue University Fort Wayne. Prior to joining the faculty at PFW, she worked in training and development. Most of Kim’s research has focused on career development, including her co-authored text entitled Career Development: A Human Resource Development Perspective. She has published a number of book chapters and journal articles in career and HRD publication outlets. She recently finished her term serving on the AHRD Board of Directors and also was the Editor-in-Chief for Advances in Developing Human Resources from 2012-2015. 

  • Dr. Rajashi Ghosh is Associate Professor of Human Resource Development (HRD) and Department Chair at Drexel University. Her research explores how different developmental initiatives (like mentoring and coaching) can facilitate workplace learning and development through building inclusive relational spaces and countering the prevalence of workplace incivility. Rajashi’s work has been published in several high-impact peer-reviewed journals. She has also written several book chapters and co-edited books on mentoring and women leader development. Rajashi has been recognized by several awards, including the 2016 Early Career Scholar Award at the AHRD. Rajashi is the Associate Editor of Human Resource Development International (HRDI), one of the flagship peer-reviewed journals in the field of HRD.
