Bios:

  • Dr. Brad Shuck is an internationally recognized scholar, entrepreneur, and business thought leader in the areas of employee engagement and organizational culture. Brad is the author of Employee Engagement: A Research Overview (published by Routledge in 2020) and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and invited presentations. Brad holds four US copyrights and one pending trademark for his intellectual property around employee engagement, compassion, and work determinants of health. His work has been featured in international media outlets including Forbes, India’s Economic Times, and the Washington Post. Brad is a tenured Full Professor of Human Resource and Organizational Development at the University of Louisville and Co-Founder of OrgVitals, a disruptive, purpose-built culture management software platform. He is a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels and holds advanced degrees in Counseling, Student Affairs, Human Resource Development and Adult Education.

  • Dr. Kim Nimon is Professor in the Department of Human Resource Development at The University of Texas at Tyler. Her areas of expertise are in workforce development and quantitative data analytical methods. Kim currently serves as Co-Principal Investigator and the external evaluator for one and two NSF funded projects. Kim is co-author of the Work Cognition and Work Intention inventories, lead author of the yhat package, and Editor Emeritus of Human Resource Development Quarterly. Kim received the Early Career Scholar Award, the Elwood F. Holton III Research Excellence Award, and Cutting Edge Awards from the Academy of Human Resource Development. She also holds patents from both the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and Canada Intellectual Property Office.

  • Dr. Jae Young Lee is Assistant Professor of General Education College at Kookmin University in South Korea. Jae Young also teaches research trends in HRD, human performance technology, and research methods in the graduate programs at Ewha Woman's University and Chungang University. She received her doctoral degree at Penn State majoring in workforce education and development with an emphasis on HRD/OD. Jae Young has published 18 articles and 2 book chapters related to the HRD field. One of her articles won an Emerald Literati Award and she serves as a reviewer for several HRD-related journals. Before she became an assistant professor, Jae Young was the Team Leader of the Global HRD Team at KT&G.
